The Upland Vest sets the tone with its rugged, field-ready character. Defined by a distinctive front game pocket, it balances utility with intricate construction details, including reinforced underarms, durable flap linings, and changeable buttons for longevity. Its storage is particularly considered, featuring a large snap-closure map pocket, multiple stow pockets that wrap from front to side, and an extender strap for adaptability. What ultimately sets it apart is the fabric: a striking newspaper print that turns a traditionally outdoorsy garment into something visually expressive and one-of-a-kind.

Following this, the Fowl Vest leans even deeper into hunting heritage. Its design is anchored by a large-capacity front pocket that drapes downward, paired with classic rear game pocket detailing. The fastening system adds versatility, offering a choice between standard buttons or an integrated drawstring within the pocket itself. Despite its roots in sporting gear, the vest maintains Engineered Garments’ signature flexibility, working just as naturally layered under outerwear as it does worn over a jacket.
Shifting tone, the reversible vest introduces a more refined, tailored perspective. With a double-breasted front, V-cut hem, and clean collarless V-neck, it carries a more formal sensibility. Even when worn without a jacket, it retains a composed, structured appearance. Constructed from the same tropical wool as its matching jacket and trousers, it seamlessly integrates into a three-piece suit while offering the added option of reversibility.

The Field Vest rounds out the series by returning to utilitarian roots, this time drawing inspiration from American West outfitting traditions. Reinterpreted through Daiki Suzuki’s lens, it preserves essential functional elements, including generous box pockets at the front and back, snap closures, and multiple drawcords for adjustability. Yet it departs from convention by removing traditional down filling and introducing unexpected fabrics, resulting in a lighter, more versatile garment. Designed for adaptability, it excels in layering both beneath outerwear and over it, embodying a balance of practicality and experimentation.
