Converse and Engineered Garments are introducing a new interpretation of the Weapon, reworking one of Converse’s most iconic basketball silhouettes through Engineered Garments’ distinctive utilitarian lens. Rendered in a low-top execution, the Converse x Engineered Garments Weapon brings a fresh point of view to a shoe that first launched in 1986 and, despite being produced for only two years, made decades worth of waves. This collaboration returns to that legacy with a deliberate expression of a silhouette that left a lasting mark on basketball culture.

The Converse x Engineered Garments Weapon is intentional in every detail. Paneled full-grain leather construction gives the upper structure and depth, while collar padding and perforated detailing sharpen the shape. Adjustable Y-Bar straps at the ankle bring a functional element, and co-branded detailing at the woven tongue label and insole completes the collaboration. The collection arrives in Vintage White and Yellow, and Black and Vintage White—references to the two retro colorways that helped put the Weapon on the map.

The Weapon’s legacy is the foundation for this collaboration with Engineered Garments. Since its founding in 1999, the label has developed a reputation for uniquely utilitarian clothing shaped by eclectic design cues, balancing a respect for historically accurate design with the instinct to push familiar forms somewhere new. Applied to the Weapon, that perspective creates a silhouette that is grounded in history yet modern in execution.
