Needles and Rocky Mountain Featherbed join forces for the first time, presenting a special collaboration that reinterprets the iconic western-yoke down series.
Founded in Wyoming in the 1960s and revived under Kinji Teramoto of 35SUMMERS, Rocky Mountain Featherbed is known for its craftsmanship and heritage construction. For this collaboration, the brand’s signature Yoke Down Jacket and Down Vest have been transformed—replacing the usual single-piece leather yoke with a photo print of red-crowned cranes (tancho) soaring across a snowy landscape at sunset.
The outer and lining use 70-denier nylon taffeta, while the fill is 700-fill-power European water-repellent down, offering lightweight warmth and comfort. Both styles are available in Beige, Purple, and Black.
A meeting point between Rocky Mountain’s timeless structure and Needles’ poetic vision, the collection merges function and image into something unmistakably its own.
