Introducing the Desert Khan EG in Black Smooth, Brown Suede, and Leopard Print. Engineered Garments reimagines the Desert Khan silhouette for this second collaboration with premium suedes, leathers, and hair-on finishes. Each pair features removable kilting—a nod to Engineered Garments’ affinity for uniform and military aesthetics—and sits atop a cleated Vibram® sole for enhanced durability. Finishing touches include co-branded detailing on the fob and sock liner, along with a heel tab for easy wear.
Reflecting on the visual concept behind the release, Daiki Suzuki shares:
“While looking through old Clarks advertisements, I was inspired to create an image using a similar illustration style. The concept involved collaging illustrations with real product photos, highlighting the bold sole and tread pattern that define the shoe’s design. At the same time, I wanted to incorporate the music and energy of New York City, which serves as the foundation of our brand. To bring this concept to life, we collaborated with GAKU, a local New York graphic designer and a longtime creative partner, who handled both the photography and the illustrations.”
