South2 West8 and KEEN release their collaborative sandal on Saturday, March 21. A revival of a highly sought-after style from a previous collaboration, the model returns for the season.
Based on KEEN’s original WAIMEA H2, the sandal features the brand’s signature toe protection and a construction designed to follow the natural contours of the foot. An anatomically shaped footbed provides a secure, comfortable fit, while a lightweight EVA midsole absorbs impact and supports everyday wear. The result is a simple, functional sandal suited to a range of conditions—from city pavement to more uneven terrain.
The collaboration is marked by SOUTH2 WEST8’s deer horn motif, embroidered across the thong strap—an understated but recognizable detail within the brand’s visual language. The combination of KEEN’s technical foundation and SOUTH2 WEST8’s identity results in a distinct iteration of the WAIMEA H2.
