Following the release from Nepenthes New York, Nepenthes Los Angeles releases a limited run of Dodgers Retro Crown 9Fifty Snapbacks in grey and chrome white. Clean and unembellished, each hat comes with a removable Nepenthes “N” pin, adding a subtle mark of the store’s presence.
The accompanying photos were shot at Philippe The Original, a century-old French Dip counter in Chinatown, blocks from Dodger Stadium. Open since 1908, the space still runs on sawdust floors, mustard pots, and a steady stream of regulars. On game days, it becomes part of the route.
