It was a quick escape into the desert—just enough time to blow off some steam and bake in the sun. He woke up at 5:30 AM to catch the sunrise and spent the rest of the day poolside, flipping through The Road, sipping iced Americanos, and letting the stillness of the desert settle in.
Towering palms, dry heat, and endless sky. Not much more to ask for.
