Mike Reesé’s work employs archetypes and semiotics to construct new visual languages through layered storytelling. Rooted in the tension between fantasy and reality, his practice explores themes of emotion, memory, identity, and transformation through painting, sculpture, and immersive world-building. Combining sculptural painting techniques with the emotional sensibilities of color field painting and expressionism,Reesé creates tactile, symbolic works that blur the line between the spiritual, synthetic, and deeply personal.
